Eleven Warriors first reported Ohio State would wear alternate jerseys against Penn State and provided our first look at the retail version of the jersey.
Monday, Ohio State released more looks at its wolf-themed jersey, and it features scarlet Buckeye Leafs.
Ohio State also gave us another glimpse of the LeBron Soldier XI cleats, which were originally worn against Oklahoma and will apparently be trotted out again (albeit in a different colorway):
There were behind-the-scenes rumblings that Penn State complained about number visibility, potentially causing Ohio State to shelve the jerseys.
According to Jordan Strack of WTOL-11, Gene Smith got involved in the fracas and got the jerseys approved Sunday night.
