After a 48-3 win over Michigan State and losses by four top-10 teams this weekend, Ohio State has climbed three spots to No. 8 in the Coaches Poll.

While Georgia remains ahead of Ohio State after its first loss of the season to Auburn, the Buckeyes jump Notre Dame, Washington and TCU following their respective losses to Miami, Stanford and Oklahoma, with Miami and Oklahoma moving back to the top five after their big wins.

Although Alabama got a scare from Mississippi State on Saturday night, the Crimson Tide maintains its stronghold on the No. 1 spot in the Coaches Poll – receiving every first-place vote – after scoring a game-winning touchdown with 25 seconds remaining to defeat the Bulldogs, 31-24.
