Ezekiel Elliott's legal battle with the NFL is finally over.
The former Ohio State running back decided to forgo any further appeals on Wednesday, meaning he will serve the full extent of his six-game suspension from the NFL, ending the back-and-forth battle with the league that has played out over the course of the season.
Elliott's representatives, Rocky Arceneaux and Frank Salzano, announced Elliott's decision in a statement on Wednesday afternoon.

Elliott, who served the first game of his suspension this past Sunday, will remain suspended through Week 15 of the NFL season and will be eligible to return to the Dallas Cowboys on Dec. 24.
Elliott was originally suspended by the NFL in August after a year-long investigation determined that he committed three acts of domestic violence against a former girlfriend in July 2016. Elliott has repeatedly denied the accusations and maintained his innocence.
