Ohio State has medically disqualified redshirt junior linebacker Nick Conner, a university spokesman confirmed to Eleven Warriors on Monday afternoon after Bill Landis of cleveland.com first reported the news.
Conner, a three-star 2015 prospect from local suburb of Dublin, suffered three serious knee injuries in his career, with two coming at Ohio State.
Conner finishes his career with one total tackle. The move leaves Ohio State at 88 players on scholarship. The Buckeyes must trim that number to 85 by Sept. 1.
