Kickoff times have now been set for five of Ohio State's 12 regular-season games this fall.
Ohio State's season opener against Oregon State on Sept. 1 will kick off at noon and be televised on ABC, while Ohio State's second game against Rutgers on Sept. 8 will kick off at 3:30 p.m. on Big Ten Network, the Big Ten announced Thursday afternoon. Both games will be played at Ohio Stadium.
The Buckeyes' third game of the season against TCU in Dallas on Sept. 15 will kick off at 8 p.m. and be televised on ABC, as the network previously announced earlier this month.
The Big Ten also announced that Ohio State's Oct. 6 home game against Indiana will kick off at either 3:30 p.m. or 4 p.m., on a TV network to be determined, while the Buckeyes' annual rivalry game against Michigan at Ohio Stadium on Nov. 24 will be televised on FOX and kick off at the traditional time of noon.
The rest of Ohio State's kickoff times will be announced either six or 12 days before each game, with the possible exception of any primetime games that might be announced leading up to the season.
Ohio State also announced themes for all seven of its home games on Thursday. The Oregon State game has been designated as the Scarlet & Gray Game. The Buckeyes will be recognized their 2018 Ohio State Athletics Hall of Fame class at the Rutgers game.
Ohio State's Sept. 22 game against Tulane will be the Alumni Band and Faculty/Staff Appreciation Game. The Indiana game will be the Homecoming game. Ohio State's Oct. 13 game against Minnesota will be the Buckeye Club game. Military Appreciation Day will be held on Nov. 3 against Nebraska, while Senior Day festivities will take place before the Michigan game.
