Much to the delight of football fans around the country, we hit another offseason mile marker this week when EA Sports released the player ratings for its latest rendition of its Madden football game.
It's typically a time of excitement, but a few former Buckeyes were not quite thrilled by their ratings, and took to the Twitter waves to voice their frustration.

This is one of the most disrespectful things I seen a a long time. @EAMaddenNFL what did I do to deserve this?? pic.twitter.com/1RJuN58xnB

How do they come up with them? Serious Question. https://t.co/s9kh9j3TeU

At least 2018 All-Pro Cameron Heyward did get some answers to his inquiry.
What a joke

Dear @EAMaddenNFL first off I come off a career year: all pro probowl alternate ,considered more of a DT than DE, if comparing me in DT I lead the league in sacks for my position, 12 sacks, part of a top 10 def and lead the league in sacks as a team

We'll see how this all turns out, especially for Heyward. Ultimately though, I think the easiest way to improve a rating would be to come out guns blazing at the beginning of the season.
Update: It Worked!
So get this: EA Sports actually listened to Heyward's argument, evaluated the evidence, and decided to improve his rating – if only slightly. If only fighting parking tickets was that easy.
