Ohio State blows out Indiana, 38-15. Now, it's time to do the same to That Team Up North.
Former Ohio State wide receiver Devin Smith is no longer a New York Jet, as the franchise released the former second-round selection Monday morning. Adam Schefter of ESPN broke the news:
Jets are releasing former 2015 second-round pick Devin Smith, per source. Smith suffered two torn ACLs and has struggled to recover from them.

The Jets drafted Smith in 2015, and he spent most of that time sidelined by two ACL tears.
In what now seems like a prophetic tweet, Smith tweeted the following Saturday:
Im trying to keep everything together.. These past 2 years have been so hard for me mentally but I try to continue to push thru!

Smith finishes his Jets career with 10 catches for 135 yards and a touchdown in ten games.
UPDATE: Smith has cleared waivers, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
