You can't seem to keep Mike Nugent out of the league.
After 13 seasons in the NFL, Nugent has a chance to win a roster spot once again as the Raiders signed the former Buckeye to compete with rookie Eddy Pineiro this preseason.

The move was somewhat unexpected, as the Raiders released Giorgio Tavecchio, who was expected to compete for the starting spot along with Pineiro.
Last season, Nugent appeared in a total of eight games for two different, serving as a replacement kicker in both Dallas and Chicago, and he put up some of the best numbers of his career, drilling 85 percent of his field goals and hitting a 55-yarder, tying a career long.
Nugent turned 36 in March and is nearing retirement age, but it seems like he's not ready to call it quits just yet.
