Urban Meyer couldn't be on the sidelines this weekend while serving his three-game suspension, but that didn't mean he just spent the weekend at home.
Urban and his wife, Shelley, gave a special game day hospital visit to Matthew Offers, an eight-year-old Buckeye fan born with congenital heart disease who has spent much of his young life in the hospital, according to NBC4.
From Heather Offers' Facebook page:
Matthew had a very special visitor today. It has been hard keeping this to myself. Urban Meyer and his wife came to the hospital specifically to see Matthew after hearing his story and remembers facetiming with him during Christmas the past 2 years. They are the most humble down to earth people you could meet.
The Meyers also gave Matthew's parents tickets in their personal stadium suite for Saturday's game against Rutgers, NBC4 reports.
Thank you to Urban and Shelley Meyer for visiting Matt today at Children's. The smiles Matt gave Urban and Shelley was priceless. #OhioState #Best9thBdayVisit @spinnershells @OSUCoachMeyer pic.twitter.com/4FkN0b2EQ7

Urban Meyer will be suspended for Saturday's contest against TCU, but will return to the sidelines the following week when the Buckeyes host Tulane at 3:30 p.m.
