The Buckeyes saw their star defensive tackle head to the locker room early in the third quarter of Saturday night's game against TCU as Nick Bosa left the game with an apparent groin injury.
Bosa stayed down on the field while training staff attended to his lower body, and walked off the field under his own power, heading back to the Ohio State locker room for evaluation.
Bosa returned to the sideline in street clothes and did not return to the game. ESPN reported Bosa's injury as a lower abdomen strain.
At the time of his departure, Bosa was leading the team in tackles (5), tackles for a loss (1), sacks (1) and forced a fumble the Buckeyes recovered for a touchdown.
