Once a Buckeye, always a Buckeye. Across the Shield follows those who once wore Scarlet and Gray on their journeys through the NFL.
Malik Hooker's INT
As we saw seven times during his breakout 2016 season at Ohio State, Malik Hooker has a nose for the football.
He did it once again on Sunday, intercepting a Sam Darnold lame duck arm-punt to give the Colts the ball back.

Unfortunately, the Colts went on to lose the game, 42-34, as the defense clearly couldn't get the job done against Darnold, who finished with 280 yards and two scores, including one to a familiar face.
Terrelle Pryor Finds the End Zone
For the second time in two weeks, Terrelle Pryor scored a touchdown for the Jets.

Pryor finished with five catches for 57 yards for the Jets, as he finally appears to be beginning to feel comfortable in New York. The Jets improved to 3-3 with their win over the Colts.
But wait... there's more from this game.
Darron Lee Shines
Another former Buckeye-turned New York Jet had his best game of the season, as Darron Lee recorded eight tackles and this interception (plus 25-yard runback).

As noted in the tweet, that was Lee's third interception of the season, which is tied for the NFL lead, and is the most among any linebacker so far this season.
Elliott Scores... Again
It seems like I'm typing this every week, but let's do it again: Ezekiel Elliott scored.

As you can see, Zeke added a Conor McGregor celebration as the Cowboys absolutely demolished the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Elliott finished with 24 carries for 106 yards (4.4 avg) and that score. He also did something really cool for a fan battling cancer.

Shazier's Symbolic Walk
As I'm sure all of you remember, Ryan Shazier suffered a disgustingly unlucky and downright terrible injury last year against the Cincinnati Bengals that left him confined to a wheelchair for months.
A mere 314 days later, Shazier returned to Cincinnati, on his feet, and walking on the very field where his life changed forever.

This is just absolutely amazing, and it is remarkable to see the recovery that Shazier has made, and will continue to make.
