Former Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor has been released from the New York Jets due to a groin injury, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter and Rich Cimini.

Pryor has struggled in his past year and a half since his breakout season in Cleveland. The former Redskins and Jets receiver has just 475 receiving yards and three touchdowns in 15 games since leaving the Browns, where he surpassed the 1,000 yard mark for the first time in his career.
It has been a rough year for former Ohio State quarterbacks. Pryor joins Braxton Miller, Cardale Jones, and J.T. Barrett, all of whom were released at some point this season. All three have now been signed to practice squads, and by the looks of it, Pryor will not be unemployed for long.
