Michael Thomas Guarding Status: Not Possible
What a game from CantGuardMike. He was literally un-coverable in this one for the Saints, as he recorded 12 catches for 211 yards (a Saints record) and this 72-yard touchdown score.

That scamper iced the win for the Saints as they defeated the previously unbeaten Los Angeles Rams.
Also, that celebration was amazing. Thomas pulled out a cell phone from underneath the goalpost, paying homage to former Saints wideout Joe Horn, who did the same thing in 2003.
Thomas earned kudos on his performance as a whole from a true master, former Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chad Johnson.
@Cantguardmike Fucking beautiful today

Next, the Saints will play the Bengals, where yours truly will be in attendance at Paul Brown Stadium to see his favorite team get absolutely demolished.
Elsewhere in this game, Marshon Lattimore recorded four tackles, Eli Apple had five plus a pass defense, Vonn Bell had six plus a pass defense, and Kurt Coleman had one tackle.
Jeff Heuerman Enjoys Breakout Performance
Halfway through his fourth year in the NFL, Jeff Heuerman had never caught more than four passes in a game.
Not anymore.
The tight end enjoyed a breakout performance on Sunday against the Houston Texans, snagging 10 passes for 83 yards and this touchdown.

In a contract year, Heuerman needed to put up some good numbers to maximize his value, and he has done just that.
Curtis Samuel Scores Twice
It amazes me that the Panthers do not give Curtis Samuel the ball more, because he seems to find the end zone every time he touches it.
Look no further than yesterday's performance, when Samuel had three touches, and scored on two of them.
Here was the first one, a nifty reverse where we saw some of Samuel's trademark agility and speed.

Next, Samuel was able to haul in a well-thrown ball from Cam Newton late in the game, sealing the win for the Panthers.

The rookie has 10 touches this season and four touchdowns. Scoring on 40% of your touches is pretty good.
Jerome Baker = Steal
In the third round of the draft, the Miami Dolphins found a starting linebacker for years to come.
Yesterday, Jerome Baker recorded his first career NFL interception, and took it to the house to score the only touchdown of the day for the Dolphins.

Baker had five tackles in this game, while Raekwon McMillan recorded two.
For the Jets, Darron Lee had six tackles.
Terrelle Pryor Signed By Bills
After being released by the New York Jets due to injury, Terrelle Pryor was signed by the Bills and immediately made his debut yesterday.
Weve signed WR Terrelle Pryor to a one-year deal and released CB Dontae Johnson.

Buffalo gunslinger Nathan Peterman is absolutely terrible and threw three interceptions, so the Bills only scored nine points.
Pryor had two catches for 17 yards in his Bills debut. They should've let him play quarterback.
