For the first time since they joined Ohio State's coaching staff, the Buckeyes' five new assistant coaches – quarterbacks coach and passing game coordinator Mike Yurcich, co-defensive coordinator Greg Mattison, co-defensive coordinator and secondary coach Jeff Hafley, special teams coordinator and assistant secondary coach Matt Barnes and linebackers coach Al Washington – met with the local media at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center on Wednesday.
Ohio State head coach Ryan Day also held a press conference on Wednesday to talk about the Buckeyes' recruiting class, new quarterback Justin Fields, his new assistant coaches and much more.
