Last week, Ohio State teased the return of Student Appreciation Day, but now we have a date and some details.

The Buckeyes will open the doors of the Woody Hayes Athletic Center to the students at 11 a.m. on March 23 to watch practice, eat free food, take photos with the Rose Bowl and Big Ten championship trophies, and get autographs and photos with the Buckeyes after the practice.

“The Ohio State students represent the most passionate and loyal fan bases in all of college football, and the players and the members of this program want to thank them for their support," Ryan Day said in a release. "I can’t wait to meet our students on the field afterward, and I can’t wait for our students to meet the players and to greet the new members of our staff.”

Ohio State did not hold a Student Appreciation Day practice last year for scheduling reasons, after having it for each of Urban Meyer's first six years as head coach, but the tradition is now officially making a comeback with the Buckeyes' new head coach.
