Traveling from Columbus to Nebraska just got a hell of a lot easier.
This season, United Airlines is rolling out nine special direct flights for big college football games, including a nonstop flight from Columbus to Lincoln, Nebraska for Ohio State's Sept. 28 road matchup with the Cornhuskers.
"Our playbook this year will make it easier than ever for fans, alumni and students to cheer on their teams in other college towns across the country," said Ankit Gupta, United's vice president of Domestic Network Planning in a release. "It's exciting for football fans and even more exciting for United to be able to operate nonstop flights between these communities for the very first time."
In addition to the flights to Lincoln from Columbus, United is offering the same service from Madison, Wisconsin to Columbus when the Badgers come to town on Oct. 26. So if you're a displaced Buckeye in enemy territory, you can hop on that deal, as well.
Tickets are available for purchase now and will likely go fast, so snag yours while you can.
