The gray stripes could be coming back.
Ohio State teased the potential return of its College Football Playoff uniforms on Sunday night, rolling out a graphic for the playoff announcement that included a photo of the scarlet jersey with gray stripes on the shoulders.

The Buckeyes wore both the home and away version of the gray-striped jersey during their 2014 College Football Playoff run, beating Alabama in the white and Oregon in the scarlet.
Ohio State's broken out the gray sleeves eight times since that national title run, but has not worn them since donning the away version during the 31-0 loss to Clemson in the College Football Playoff semifinal, also the last time the Buckeyes made the playoff.
