Former Buckeye running back Carlos Hyde reached a professional milestone today, eclipsing the 1,000-yard rushing barrier for the first time in a single-season.

Hyde rushed for 104 yards on 26 carries in Houston's 24-21 win over the Tennessee Titans. His 10-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter gave the Texans a 21-14 lead while putting El Guapo over the 1,000-yard mark.

In his first season with the Texans, Hyde has started 12 of 14 games and now has 1,030 rushing yards on 4.6 yards per carry. Today marked Hyde's third game this season with over 100 yards rushing.

Hyde nearly reached the 1,000-yard mark in both 2016 and 2017 with San Francisco when he rushed for 988 and 938 yards, respectively.

The win improved Houston to 9-5, strengthening their grip on the AFC South.
