Ohio State continues to rake in All-American honors, leading the nation with seven players across the three Associated Press All-American teams.
The Buckeyes are led by three first-team All-Americans – Chase Young, Jeff Okudah and Wyatt Davis – with Justin Fields and J.K. Dobbins earning second-team honors and Jonah Jackson and Malik Harrison taking third-team honors.
Young leads the nation with 16.5 sacks, which is also a single-season Ohio State record, and has 21 total tackles for loss, 44 total tackles, six forced fumbles, three pass breakups and a blocked field goal.
A Jim Thorpe Award finalist, Okudah has been one of the most dominant defensive backs in the country both in pass coverage and run support. The junior has three interceptions, seven additional pass breakups, two forced fumbles and 30 total tackles.
In just his first season as a starter, Davis has emerged as one of the most dominant interior offensive linemen in the country helping lead the prolific Buckeye offense.
Young and Okudah were also named first-team All-Americans by the Walter Camp Football Foundation on Friday. This is Davis' first first-team honor of the year, but he earned second-team Walter Camp honors.
Fields and Dobbins also earned second-team honors from Walter Camp. These are the first All-American honors for Jackson and Harrison.
