Ransom joins fellow safety Kourt Williams and defensive lineman Ty Hamilton as the third defensive player in Ohio State's class of 2020 to lose his black stripe this fall.
Running back Miyan Williams and offensive lineman Josh Fryar also had their black stripes removed following Saturday's practice in the Shoe.
Ransom, a four-star prospect out of Tuscon, Arizona, was the No. 11 safety and No. 167 overall player in the 2020 recruiting class.
