Call him Captain Terry.
With veteran safety Landon Collins now the IR, the Washington Football team had an opening for a new team captain, and they just so happened to have the perfect guy on the roster to fill it.
To nobody's surprise, the team unanimously voted Terry McLaurin the newest captain of the Washington Football Team.
McLaurin earns the honor after already putting his leadership on display as just a second-year player. Following the team's week seven win over Dallas, it was McLaurin who took the initiative to address the team for its preparation and performance.

"I know I'm still a young guy and not a captain or nothing," McLaurin began seemingly apologetically before giving an impassioned speech to his teammates.
The next time Washington takes the field, McLaurin will certainly still be a young guy, but he'll be a captain, too.
McLaurin joins former Ohio State teammate Dwayne Haskins in the captaincy as Haskins was named a team captain before the start of the season.
