That's the second-largest opening line of the season so far for the Buckeyes, behind the 38-point spread Ohio State failed to cover against Rutgers this week. As of Sunday night, however, the spread had dropped to 25 points on both Bovada and BetOnline.
So far this season, Ohio State is 2-1 against the spread, covering against both Nebraska and Penn State to start the season before missing the cover against the Scarlet Knights.
It's the second straight week Maryland will enters its game as a nearly four-touchdown underdog, but that didn't stop the Terrapins from earning a 35-19 win over Penn State on Saturday in a game the Nittany Lions were favored to win by 27.5 points.
