Tuf Borland, Justin Fields and Nicholas Petit-Frere earned Ohio State's player of the game honors for its third win of the season against Rutgers on Saturday.

Borland was named both the defensive player of the game and special teams player of the game for Saturday's 49-27 win over Rutgers. On defense, he led the Buckeyes with six total tackles and had their only sack. He was awarded special teams honors for his blocking efforts as an upback on the punt team.

On offense, Justin Fields earned Ohio State's player of the game honors for the second time this year after he completed 24 of his 28 passing attempts for 314 yards and five touchdowns while also running for a 7-yard touchdown. He split this week's offensive player of the game honors with right tackle Nicholas Petit-Frere, who was credited with six knockdown blocks by the Buckeyes' coaching staff.
