Shaun Wade returned to Ohio State for another season, and now has some hardware to show for it.
Ohio State has a long history of elite defensive backs, but had never produced a winner of the Big Ten's Tatum–Woodson Defensive Back of the Year Award going back to the award's inception in 2011.
They call @OhioStateFB DBU for a reason.

That changes this year as Wade becomes the first Buckeye ever to win the award.
Moving to the outside cornerback position for the first time this season after playing safety and in the slot the rest of his career, Wade has 15 total tackles, three passes defended and two interceptions, including a pivotal pick-six during Ohio State's 42-35 win over Indiana.
Wade initially opted out of this season to prepare for the NFL Draft amid uncertainty about the fate of the Big Ten football season but elected to return to Ohio State to help the Buckeyes compete for a national championship.
