Drue Chrisman has been recognized as one of the Big Ten's best punters once again.

Ohio State's punter was named Thursday as a second-team All-Big Ten selection, as voted on by the coaches. He was not among the media voters' All-Big Ten selections.

Chrisman has averaged 45.2 yards per punt on 18 punts this season, including six 50-yard punts and eight punts downed inside the 20-yard line. He had his best game of the year in Ohio State's final game of the regular season against Michigan State in which he averaged 53.4 yards per punt – including a 74-yard punt – and downed two punts inside the 2-yard line.

He previously earned third-team All-Big Ten honors in 2018 and was an All-Big Ten honorable mention in 2019.

Chrisman was Ohio State's only All-Big Ten honoree on special teams, joining nine offensive players and seven defensive players who were named to All-Big Ten teams.

Fifth-year senior defensive end Jonathon Cooper, a two-time team captain, was also recognized Thursday as Ohio State's Big Ten Sportsmanship Award honoree for this season.

Indiana coach Tom Allen was named Thursday as this year's Big Ten Coach of the Year, earning the award after guiding the Hoosiers to a 6-1 regular-season record, with their only loss coming in a 42-35 defeat at Ohio State.
