Third-Team All-Big Ten Defensive Tackle Haskell Garrett is named a First-Team All-American.
Yes, you read that right.
On Wednesday, Garrett was named just third-team All-Big Ten by the conference's coaches and didn't even make any of the media's all-conference teams after emerging as one of the most dominant interior linemen in the country.
Less than a week later, he was named a first-team All-American by Pro Football Focus, and he understandably had some thoughts for the Big Ten's coaches and media.
Just gonna leave this here.... @BIG10 https://t.co/xTPlX8EVyY

This season, Garrett had 17 total tackles, four tackles for loss, two sacks and a pick-six to go along with the relentless pressure he's put on opposing quarterbacks this season in addition to his run-stopping ability.
Of course, this all comes just a few months after he was shot in the face while trying to break up a fight and was miraculously ready to play – and dominate – in Ohio State's season opener.
It's been a wild ride and an unbelievable season for Garrett. At least somebody is giving him the recognition he deserves.
