Ohio State blows out Indiana, 38-15. Now, it's time to do the same to That Team Up North.
Ohio State's 2020 graduates who didn't get the opportunity to have a traditional in-person commencement last year will have the opportunity to hear from Ryan and Christina Day at a ceremony at Ohio Stadium next month.
Ohio State announced Friday that the Buckeyes’ head football coach and his wife will serve as the featured speakers at Ohio State's celebration for 2020 graduates on Aug. 7 at the Shoe.
“Ryan and Nina are prominent members of our Buckeye community and have long served as well-spoken and highly recognized ambassadors of all Ohio State has to offer; it’s both fitting and exciting that our 2020 graduates and their families will have the opportunity to hear their inspirational message,” Ohio State president Kristina Johnson said in a news release.
The celebration of 2020 graduates, whose actual commencement ceremonies will held virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic, will be held from 7:30-9 p.m. at Ohio Stadium on Aug. 7. Tickets are not required, though graduates are asked to RSVP through Ohio State's website, and attendees will not be required to wear traditional academic regalia.
