NFL scouts have come to Columbus in droves to watch Ohio State's marquee non-conference game against Oregon.
A total of 24 representatives from 19 different NFL teams will be at Ohio Stadium on Saturday to watch the Buckeyes play the Ducks in the Shoe, according to the press box seating chart.
The Carolina Panthers lead the contingent of NFL scouts in attendance with three representatives at the game, while the Buffalo Bills, Indianapolis Colts and Philadelphia Eagles each sent two representatives to Columbus. The Houston Texans, Cincinnati Bengals, Chicago Bears, Minnesota Vikings, Pittsburgh Steelers, Los Angeles Chargers, Tennessee Titans, Kansas City Chiefs, Miami Dolphins, Cleveland Browns, Atlanta Falcons, Washington Football Team, San Francisco 49ers, New York Giants and Green Bay Packers are each set to have one scout in attendance.
Ohio State is loaded with potential prospects for the 2022 NFL draft, including wide receivers Chris Olave and Garrett Wilson, defensive ends Zach Harrison and Tyreke Smith, offensive linemen Nicholas Petit-Frere and Thayer Munford, defensive tackle Haskell Garrett, tight end Jeremy Ruckert and defensive backs Sevyn Banks and Josh Proctor.
Oregon defensive end Kayvon Thibodeaux will certainly have the attention of NFL scouts if he's healthy enough to play on Saturday, as he's widely projected to be a top-five overall pick in the 2022 NFL draft. Other Ducks who NFL scouts could have their eyes on Saturday include running back CJ Verdell, defensive tackle Brandon Dorlus, cornerback Mykael Wright and safety Verone McKinley III.
