Ohio State's second Big Ten matchup will be a mid-afternoon game.
The conference announced Monday that the Buckeyes' Week 5 meeting with Rutgers will kick off at 3:30 p.m. in Piscataway, New Jersey, on Oct. 2, and be televised on the Big Ten Network.

Ohio State will have already played two night games through the first four games of the season. The season opener against Minnesota kicked off at 8 p.m. while this upcoming weekend's contest against Akron is scheduled for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff on Big Ten Network.
The Buckeyes kicked off at noon against Oregon in the home opener a couple weeks ago, and this past weekend's win over Tulsa was a 3:30 p.m. game.
Rutgers is 3-0 to start the season, with wins against Temple, Syracuse and Delaware. The Scarlet Knights take on No. 19 Michigan this weekend to begin their Big Ten slate.
