The streak is still alive.

Ohio State's run of winning the Big Ten Freshman of the Week award after every game it's played this season continues this week as redshirt freshman quarterback C.J. Stroud wins the award for the fifth time in six starts.

Stroud receives the award again after completing 21 of his 28 passing attempts for 266 yards and four touchdowns in Ohio State’s 54-7 win over Indiana on Saturday.

Stroud, who has the second-best passer rating (192.8) in the Football Bowl Subdivision, has now won three of the last four Big Ten Freshman of the Week awards, with the only exception coming last week after the Buckeyes had a bye week. He also won the award after each of Ohio State’s first two games of the year.

Ohio State true freshman running back TreVeyon Henderson was Big Ten Freshman of the Week after he ran for 270 yards and three touchdowns against Tulsa, while true freshman quarterback Kyle McCord won the award after he filled in when Stroud got a week off to rest his shoulder against Akron.

If Stroud, Henderson or another Buckeye freshman can have a big game on the big stage against Penn State on Saturday night, Ohio State should have a good chance of winning its eighth Big Ten Freshman of the Week award of the season next week.
