C.J. Stroud was snubbed from another honor.
The Walter Camp Football Foundation announced its five finalists for this year's Walter Camp Player of Year award on Thursday afternoon, and Ohio State's star quarterback was not on the list.
Instead, the list included Georgia nose tackle Jordan Davis, Michigan defensive end Aidan Hutchinson, Pittsburgh quarterback Kenny Pickett, Michigan State running back Kenneth Walker III and Alabama quarterback Bryce Young.

This is the second major award for which Stroud was not named a finalist. The Maxwell Award, given to the college football player of the year, chose Young, Pickett and Walker as its three finalists even before Ohio State's loss to Michigan on Saturday.
Despite the snubs, however, Stroud was named a finalist for the Davey O’Brien National Quarterback Award – along with Young and Pickett – and will likely be a finalist for this year's Heisman Trophy.
Stroud also picked up some other honors this week, however, as he was named Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year, Big Ten Quarterback of the Year, and Big Ten Freshman of the Year becoming the first player ever to win all three awards the same season.
