Johnnie Dixon turned his first USFL touchdown into a tribute to his former teammate.
After scoring a four-yard touchdown on a catch in the New Orleans Breakers’ 34-3 win over the Tampa Bay Bandits on Sunday, Dixon paid homage to former Ohio State quarterback Dwayne Haskins, who Dixon played with at Ohio State from 2016-18.
“I love you, Dwayne,” Dixon shouted after scoring his first touchdown as a USFL player. “Rest in peace to my brother Dwayne. We love you, man.”
