Johnnie Dixon is the USFL’s offensive player of the week.
The former Ohio State wide receiver earned the league’s Offensive Player of the Week award for Week 3 after catching seven passes for 86 yards and two touchdowns in the New Orleans Breakers’ 22-13 loss to the Birmingham Stallions on Saturday.

Dixon’s performance was highlighted by a 35-yard deep ball catch in traffic as well as touchdown catches of 10 and 11 yards.

Through the first three weeks of the USFL season, Dixon leads all receivers with 165 receiving yards and is tied for the league lead with three touchdowns. His 16 receptions are the second-most in the league.
