“Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery...”
Michigan apparently took that quote to heart.
After beating Ohio State for the first time in 10 years last November, the Wolverines took a page out of the Buckeyes’ playbook. Much like the Gold Pants that Ohio State players receive every year the Buckeyes beat Michigan, Wolverine players received charms on Friday commemorating their 42-27 victory over Ohio State in Ann Arbor last season.

It’s the first time Michigan players have received memorabilia for beating Ohio State, according to Angelique Chengelis of the Detroit News.
According to Michigan director of football creative Aaron Bills, Jim Harbaugh had a hand in designing the chains, which feature “Team 142” and a helmet sticker commemorating The Game on the front, and maize claw marks crossing out the Block O below the score of the game on the back.
