After every win this season, Eleven Warriors will honor Ohio State's top offensive and defensive performers with player of the game awards.
Miyan Williams is the Eleven Warriors offensive player of the game, and Steele Chambers is our defensive player of the game for their standout performance in the Buckeyes' 49-10 win over Rutgers on Saturday.

Williams earns offensive player of the game honors after setting career highs in every running category with 21 carries for 189 yards and five touchdowns against the Scarlet Knights. His five scores tied Pete Johnson and Keith Byars for the Ohio State single-game rushing touchdown record, with the former setting the record in 1975 against North Carolina and the latter reaching that mark against Illinois in 1984.

Chambers was everywhere for the Ohio State defense on Saturday, racking up 11 tackles, two tackles for loss and an interception against Rutgers. The fourth-year Buckeye has shined next to Tommy Eichenberg as the Will linebacker this season, as those two players have transformed one of the defense's weakest units in 2021 into its strongest in 2022.

Through the first five weeks, Chambers has stuffed the stat sheet with 30 tackles, four tackles for loss, one sack, one pass breakup and an interception. He will look to continue his hot start to the season when Ohio State faces Michigan State on Oct. 8 before entering its bye week.
Williams and Chambers are the latest Buckeyes to claim our weekly player of the game honors. Williams previously won the award after his performance against Notre Dame in Week 1, while Chambers is a first-time honoree. Marvin Harrison Jr., C.J. Stroud and Emeka Egbuka are the other Buckeyes to win offensive player of the game. At the same time, Eichenberg (twice), Mike Hall Jr. and Javontae Jean-Baptiste have each claimed defensive player of the game honors.
