Marvin Harrison Jr. and the Ohio State offense made some noise in the first half against Indiana.
The Buckeyes started the game with a three-and-out on their first offensive drive. However, the defense forced Indiana to do the same. With plus field position near midfield, Ohio State delivered a touchdown on its second possession, capitalizing with a 6-yard pass from C.J. Stroud to Emeka Egbuka for a score.

Indiana's next offensive drive was also hampered by the Silver Bullets, as the Hoosiers suffered another three-and-out and had to punt the ball away to Ohio State for the second time.
On the ensuing drive for the Buckeyes, a swing pass from Stroud to Xavier Johnson – who was lined up at running back for the play – pushed Ohio State deep into Indiana territory. A few plays later, freshman running back Dallan Hayden took his first carry of the game 14 yards to the end zone for his second-career touchdown.

Ohio State's fourth drive of the contest continued the touchdown trend. However, it was much quicker than the other two. In fact, it only took one play – a 59-yard bomb from Stroud to Harrison, his favorite receiving weapon of 2022. Additionally, on the Buckeyes' fifth possession of the day, the breakout receiver made an impressive catch worthy of a highlight post.

Miyan Williams, who racked up more than 100 yards rushing in the first 30 minutes, found the end zone for the first time on Ohio State's sixth drive of the game. The third-year running back took a handoff to the right, made one cut up the field and ran 48 yards for a touchdown. The score was Williams' 13th of the year.

Go figure – Harrison made the final play of the half that drew applause and cheers from the fans inside Ohio Stadium. As the clock winded down in the second quarter and the Buckeyes drove into Indiana territory, Stroud threw a pass that forced Harrison to jump into the air near the Hoosiers' sideline. The man nicknamed "Super Marv" and "Marvelous Marv" came down with possibly his best catch of the year.

Ohio State held a 28-7 advantage over Indiana at the break and outgained the Hoosiers 377 to 147 in total offense. The Buckeyes saw touchdowns from Egbuka, Hayden, Harrison and Williams, as well as stellar defensive play from Ronnie Hickman, Steele Chambers and Tommy Eichenberg.
In the final 30 minutes, Ohio State will look to close the door on Indiana and cover what was a 40-point spread heading into the contest. Up 21 points at halftime, the Buckeyes are off to a great start.
