7/11 is still open in the NFL.
C.J. Stroud and Jaxon Smith-Njigba will be wearing the same numbers they made famous at Ohio State for their new NFL teams. The Houston Texans officially announced Thursday that Stroud will continue wearing No. 7 as an NFL quarterback, while the Seattle Seahawks announced one day after drafting Smith-Njigba that he would continue wearing No. 11 in Seattle.

While Stroud and Smith-Njigba will be keeping their college digits in the NFL, Ohio State’s other draft picks will be changing numbers at the next level.
Paris Johnson Jr. will be wearing No. 70 for the Arizona Cardinals. Johnson’s college number, 77, is retired by the Cardinals in honor of Stan Mauldin, an offensive tackle who died while playing for the then-Chicago Cardinals in 1948.
