Ohio State demolishes Tennessee, 42-17, and advances to the Rose Bowl to face top-seeded Oregon.
It's official: Ohio State will suit up in brand new alternate uniforms for its primetime matchup with Michigan State.
The Buckeye football program teased the new threads on social media for the past couple of weeks but officially unveiled the gray threads in all their glory on Friday. Ohio State will debut the look in its Nov. 11 tilt against the Spartans, scheduled for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff at the Shoe. The game will be televised on NBC.

It won't be the first time Ohio State has rocked a monochromatic look for in recent years. The Buckeyes wore a black alternate uniform in 2022 against Wisconsin, against Penn State in 2015, Nebraska in 2018 and Michigan State in 2019. Ohio State donned all-white threads on the road against the Spartans in 2020 and debuted an all-red alternate uniform in its 2021 home matchup with the Nittany Lions.
The Buckeyes have worn various alternate versions of their uniform 33 times since 2009 and hold a 26-7 record in those contests, per an Ohio State release. The Buckeyes are 15-2 all-time wearing alternates at home, including a seven-game win streak in alternate uniforms at the Shoe.
