Ohio State is in the midst of a critical evaluation period.
Ryan Day said Wednesday he may have a better idea of where the competition stands for some positions after this week's practices have concluded, especially after Saturday's scrimmage.
The Buckeyes took the field on Friday for their final tune-up before the scrimmage, which saw a few interesting revelations unfold. Freshman Arvell Reese worked with the defensive ends, which seemingly will be his new spot after coming in as a linebacker. Kyle McCord and Devin Brown continued to split first-team reps as the quarterback competition rages on.
