One week into the 2023 season, many of the same questions that dominated preseason conversations around Ohio State football are still lingering.
While Kyle McCord received the majority of the quarterback reps against Indiana, Ryan Day said Tuesday he expects both McCord and Devin Brown to play against FCS opponent Youngstown State on Saturday in Columbus.
Day also said that Josh Proctor will continue to start at free safety but that he expects Malik Hartford and Ja’Had Carter to also see playing time there. On the offensive line, Day said only Josh Fryar graded out as a champion but that he thinks the issues that plagued the Buckeyes up front in Week 1 are “correctable.”
Eleven Warriors’ Dan Hope and Andy Anders discuss all of those topics on this week’s episode of Press Coverage, which you can watch in the video above.
