In a minor upset, the first question Ryan Day was asked Tuesday wasn't about the quarterback competition.
When that came one question later, Day readily declared Kyle McCord as Ohio State's starting quarterback going forward.
Day also talked about how Ohio State’s offensive line hasn’t performed up to expectations so far, and both Day and defensive coordinator Jim Knowles discussed OSU's defensive ends failing to record a sack in two games so far this season, though neither seems overly concerned about that trend moving forward. They also discussed the challenges Western Kentucky can bring to Ohio State's pass defense, as WKU quarterback Austin Reed led the nation in passing yards a year ago.
Eleven Warriors’ Dan Hope and Andy Anders discuss all of those topics on this week’s episode of Press Coverage, which you can watch in the video above.
