Before Ohio State hosts Western Kentucky on Saturday, head coach Ryan Day has challenged his team to play with toughness.
This week's Game Trailer proves that Ohio State's newest QB1, Kyle McCord, will be one of several players to lead the Buckeyes in meeting that challenge head-on.
"It's us versus us. It's you versus you. Every play," McCord said in the trailer. "How hard will you go for your brother? Are you going to give it everything you got? Every single snap. Every single snap. Ask yourself that question."
Day added: "You beat them with toughness, execution and discipline. Tough, tough, tough – toughest team in the country. Physically tough, mentally tough and emotionally tough. ... Every day, you have to have urgency out here. We're not trying to be average. We're trying to be great."
Ohio State and Western Kentucky kick off at 4 p.m. on Saturday, with the matchup set to be televised on FOX and streamed on the Fox Sports app.
