The Texans are now 1-2 on the season after losing their first two games of the year to the Baltimore Ravens and Indianapolis Colts.

He is just the third quarterback in NFL history to throw for at least 900 yards in his first three games, joining Cam Newton and Justin Herbert.
Texans rookie QB C.J. Stroud has 906 passing yards in his first three NFL starts and is the third player in NFL history with at least 900 passing yards in his first three games, joining Cam Newton (1,012 passing yards in 2011) and Justin Herbert (931 in 2020).

Stroud will need to attempt 56 more passes without an interception to break the record for most consecutive passes without an interception to start an NFL career. Dak Prescott holds the league record for most passes without an interception to start a career, throwing 176 passes before throwing his first pick as a rookie in 2016.
Following Sunday’s victory, Stroud gave a shoutout to his former team for its own win over Notre Dame on Saturday night.
