There were no slow starts for Ohio State this week.
The Buckeyes cruised from start to finish on Saturday, taking down Purdue 41-7 at Ross-Ade Stadium, a place that has been seen as a house of horrors for the program.
Kyle McCord completed 16 of 28 passes for 276 yards with three touchdowns, while Devin Brown rushed for a touchdown and threw for one in the contest. Hampered by injuries, Dallan Hayden turned in an impressive effort on the ground in relief of an injured Chip Trayanum, recording 11 carries for 76 yards and one touchdown.
Marvin Harrison Jr. led the way in the receiving game with six catches for 105 yards and a touchdown, while Cade Stover caught four passes for 53 yards and two scores. Defensively, Jack Sawyer and JT Tuimoloau recorded 1.5 sacks each as Tyleik Williams contributed three tackles, two tackles for loss and two pass breakups.
