The construction worker, Luis Cifuentes, told New Orleans TV station WDSU that he had numerous confrontrations with Thomas over the past couple of weeks. Thomas is in his eighth year with the New Orleans Saints. Nine games into the 2023 season, Thomas has caught 38 passes for 439 passes and a touchdown. He is expected to play Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings despite the arrest.
He’s the second former Ohio State wide receiver now playing for the Saints to be arrested by Kenner Police over the past month, as Chris Olave was arrested for reckless operation of a motor vehicle in October.
