Marvin Harrison Jr. has achieved another milestone.
With the 15th 100-yard game of his career on Saturday against Michigan, Marvin Harrison Jr. surpassed David Boston for the most 100-yard receiving games in Ohio State history.
The Heisman Trophy candidate has now topped 100 yards in eight of Ohio State’s 12 games this season after reaching triple digits in seven of the Buckeyes’ 13 games in 2022.
For his Ohio State career as a whole, Harrison now ranks sixth on Ohio State’s all-time receiving yardage list with 2,613 receiving yards for his career. Only Michael Jenkins (2,898), Boston (2,855), Gary Williams (2,792), Cris Carter (2,725) and Chris Olave (2,711) have accumulated more receiving yards in a Buckeye uniform than Harrison.
Harrison became the first receiver in Ohio State history to surpass 1,000 receiving yards in two different seasons when he crossed that milestone for the second year in a row two weeks ago against Michigan State. With his latest triple-digit outing against Michigan bringing him to 1,211 receiving yards for the year, Harrison now owns the fourth- and fifth-highest single-season receiving totals in Ohio State history behind only Jaxon Smith-Njigba (1,606), Boston (1,435) and Terry Glenn (1,411).
