Ohio State blows out Indiana, 38-15. Now, it's time to do the same to That Team Up North.
Marvin Harrison Jr. finished fourth in the voting for this year’s Heisman Trophy.
LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels won the 2023 Heisman Trophy – joining Joe Burrow as the second LSU quarterback in five years to win the award – while Washington quarterback Michael Penix Jr. finished second in balloting and Oregon quarterback Bo Nix came in third.
Harrison, the only non-quarterback to finish in the top six in this year’s Heisman vote, received 20 first-place votes, 78 second-place votes and 136 third-place votes – the fourth-most in all three categories.

Troy Smith, who won the Heisman in 2006, remains Ohio State’s most recent Heisman winner. Ohio State remains tied with Notre Dame, Oklahoma and USC for the most Heisman winners all-time with all four schools having seven Heisman winners (though USC would have eight if Reggie Bush’s Heisman was not vacated).
Harrison’s fourth-place finish is the highest ever for an Ohio State wide receiver and the highest for any wide receiver since Alabama’s DeVonta Smith won the Heisman in 2020.
While Harrison won’t be bringing the Heisman back to Columbus, he’s earned plenty of other hardware over the last couple of weeks to add to his trophy collection. Harrison won the Biletnikoff Award on Friday night as college football’s top pass catcher and won the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year award as well as his second Big Ten Receiver of the Year award last week.
Harrison has also been named as a first-team All-American by numerous organizations including the Walter Camp Football Foundation, the first of five All-American teams Harrison will need to make to earn unanimous All-American status for the second year in a row.
