Let's try this again...
In our last contest, we offered Eleven Warriors readers the chance to win a signed Jeremiah Smith jersey if you correctly predicted the total receiving yards for Ohio State's receivers against Michigan. You all did your part, with over 450 predictions in total. However, the Buckeyes failed to beat the Wolverines, which made all predictions null.
Good news: Ohio State made the College Football Playoff and will face Tennessee in the first round. That provides us with another chance to offer a signed Jeremiah Smith jersey to whoever can tell us the future.
Here's how to win:
Post your prediction to the following question in the comments section below. Yes, right here – not on Facebook, X, or anywhere else you can respond to us. The Prediction
Ohio State has the best wide receiver room in college football. After the Buckeyes failed to utilize it in their most recent performance, offensive coordinator Chip Kelly said earlier this week that he will make a more concerted effort to place the ball in the hands of playmakers like Smith, Emeka Egbuka and Carnell Tate moving forward.
This season, Smith has led the charge with 57 catches for 934 yards and 11 total touchdowns. His teammates Emeka Egbuka and Carnell Tate haven't been far behind, either, with the former collecting 60 catches for 743 yards and nine touchdowns this season and the latter recording 41 catches for 583 yards and four scores.
On Saturday, Ohio State quarterback Will Howard and those receivers will face a Tennessee defense that has been one of the best teams in college football against the pass in 2024. Entering the weekend, the Volunteers rank No. 15 in the FBS at 181 passing yards allowed per game. They also rank No. 4 in scoring defense (14.9 points allowed per game) and No. 6 in total defense (282.9 yards allowed per game).
That leads us to our question of the week and the question of this contest: How will Smith and Zone 6 perform against Tennessee?
Correctly predict the total receiving yards for Ohio State's receivers on Saturday and win a signed Jeremiah Smith jersey! As always, roll with the Price is Right rules – the prize will be awarded to the closest prediction without going over.
Good luck!
