Will Howard's deep-ball dime-dropping ways from the College Football Playoff first round continue into the quarterfinals.
With Ohio State leading 7-0 in the first quarter against Oregon, Howard laced a 42-yard strike over a trio of defenders and into the breadbasket of Emeka Egbuka on a skinny post route for a touchdown.

The ball gave Howard his 31st touchdown pass of the season and second of the day after an earlier 45-yard catch-and-run for Jeremiah Smith. Score No. 2 made it a 14-0 lead for the Buckeyes with 7:31 still to go in the first quarter.
It was a fast start overall for Howard and the Buckeyes' passing game against the Ducks, as the senior connected on 8 of his 12 first-quarter throws for 212 yards and the two touchdowns.
