Ohio State Will Host National Championship Celebration at Ohio Stadium on Sunday at Noon

Buckeye fans can celebrate with the national champions on Sunday at noon at the Shoe.

Ohio State’s on-campus national championship celebration for the 2024 Ohio State football team will be held Sunday at noon at Ohio Stadium.

Admission and parking for the celebration will both be free. The parking lots surrounding Ohio Stadium as well as St. John Arena and the Schottenstein Center will open at 8 a.m. and will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Stadium doors will open at 10:30 a.m. Limited concessions items including water, hot chocolate, coffee and popcorn will be available at stands inside Ohio Stadium.

The championship celebration will be televised from noon to 1 p.m. on Big Ten Network nationally and on 10TV, ABC6 and NBC4 in Columbus. The celebration will also be broadcast live on 97.1 The Fan and on Ohio State Sports Network radio stations throughout the state.

Ohio State athletic director Ross Bjork will serve as emcee for the celebration while featured speakers at the event will include Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine, Columbus mayor Andrew Ginther, Ohio State president Ted Carter, Ohio State head coach Ryan Day and select players.

The Buckeyes won their ninth national championship in program history on Monday night by defeating Notre Dame, 34-23, in the College Football Playoff final.
